About Thanima
"Onam isn’t just a date on the calendar it’s a heartbeat that connects every Malayali." Thanima is VIT’s annual Onam celebration -a vibrant tribute to Kerala’s timeless traditions and the unbreakable bond of the Malayali community. Since 2002, Thanima has been more than just a fest; it’s a legacy. From cultural performances and sports to celebrity guests and festive spirit, it brings alive the soul of Onam on campus. A celebration of roots, pride, and pure Malayali joy — this is Thanima.
Ramya Nambeesan
Ramya Nambeesan is an Indian actress and playback singer, who primarily works in Malayalam and Tamil films. She has acted in over 72 films. She started her career as child artist and supporting roles in early 2000s, and went appear to lead roles in the mid-2000s.
